A special thank you to Soniya for her kindness and sweet nature. She was so welcoming, polite, and genuinely made us feel comfortable throughout our visit. "I went to Taste of Himalayas yesterday, and honestly the ambiance was so amazing. The food was absolutely delicious — I ordered momos, chow mein, and fish, and everything tasted so good. What made the experience even more special was our server, Sonia. She was incredibly kind, humble, and welcoming. Sonia greeted us so warmly, helped us get seated, and served us with so much respect and care throughout the visit. Her service was truly outstanding and made us feel very comfortable and valued. "The Taste of Himalayas is one of the best restaurants to try in Surrey. First and foremost, the quality of the food is outstanding. Their quick service and warm hospitality truly stand out. You can’t help but admire the beautiful wall paintings that depict the rich and vibrant culture of the Himalayas—adding a unique and authentic touch to the dining experience. Today, I ordered the Spicy Garlic Momos. The food was not oily, made with high-quality ingredients, and incredibly delicious. Despite living almost an hour away, I still make the trip regularly because their food is consistently excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great Himalayan cuisine. They’ve never asked for feedback like many other places do, but I felt compelled to leave this review simply because it deserves recognition. It’s a gem of a restaurant!"

"This is one of the best places for authentic food in the lower mainland. The ownerr Bik is very hospitable and service is always attentive. The food is always freshly made, quality ingredients, and always satisfying. We have been coming here for many years and often once a week. When it comes to south Asian cuisine, this is the place to go due to choices unavailable elsewhere and great quality. If you like south Asian dishes, this is the place to go. Sam in Surrey."

"We have visited Taste of Himalayan many times and have also placed several online orders over the years. We have always enjoyed the food, and in fact, we have previously given 5-star ratings because of the quality of the food and the excellent service we received. That is why our recent visit was disappointing. We visited the restaurant around 10:00 PM yesterday. As soon as we entered, a new staff member informed us that it was the last order and that we should place all our orders at once because the restaurant would be closing at 11:00 PM. We understood and placed our entire order immediately. After the food was served, she came back and reminded us that the restaurant would be closing in 10 minutes and asked us to manage accordingly. A few minutes later, while we had only just started eating, she returned and asked us to make the payment. This made us feel rushed and uncomfortable throughout our meal. We completely understand that restaurants have closing times, but customers should still be given a reasonable opportunity to enjoy their food without feeling pressured. Since we are regular customers who have dined in and ordered online multiple times, this was the first time we experienced such treatment. The other staff members have always been friendly, professional, and welcoming, which is why this experience stood out. We are sharing this feedback because we genuinely like this restaurant and want to see it maintain the high standard of customer service that led us to give 5-star reviews in the past.
